Crew
Purpose of club
Rowing is known as the oldest of all intercollegiate sports, beginning with the first race between Harvard and Yale in 1852. Today, rowing has become increasingly popular across the country. The Kansas State Men's Crew was established in 1963 by Coach Emeritus Don Rose. Our program has continued to grow and strive bringing in an average of 20 rowers per year. This water sport combines teamwork, endurance, and technical finesse. It is a highly rewarding experience for all individuals involved. We pride ourselves on being one of the top rowing clubs in the Midwest, both in competition and camaraderie.
