The Rec Report

The Rec Report is offered as a format to learn more about the programs and facilities that Recreational Services sponsors for Kansas State University students and facility members.

With 10,000 square-feet of state-of-the-art cardiovascular and free-weights equipment, "The Rec" and its certified personal trainers and fitness instructors will help you achieve your fitness goals and keep you looking and feeling good for class, work, and the rest of your daily activities. Enjoy swimming for fun or fitness at the Ahearn Complex during Rec Services' sponsored swim times.

Numerous recreational and fitness activities are happening every day! Summer intramural sports offered are softball, basketball, sand volleyball, and dodgeball. Summer group fitness sessions will begin June 2. Group fitness sessions offer a wide variety of workouts ranging from beginner to advance. Sport clubs are eager for new members. Personal trainers are available to provide one-on-one guidance. Our Outdoor Rental Center is open for warm weather season rentals with a new inventory of tents, dining canopies, and other items. Join your friends at the Rec for a friendly game of sand volleyball, softball, basketball, handball, horseshoes or racquetball! The Rec Complex is air conditioned, so don't let the sultry weather sidetrack your exercise routine.
