OUTDOOR rental center
The "ORC" welcomes you back to Manhattan for the fall semester! Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and come rent out some outdoor gear from us. Now that you and all your friends are back in town, plan a camping trip to a local lake or a kayaking trip down the Kansas River.
The ORC is located near the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex. The driveway is west of the tennis courts and the entrance is between the outdoor handball courts and the tennis courts. Please call 785-532-6894 when making plans for your next outing! The hours of operation are as follows:
Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, 4-6 p.m.
Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Closed every Tuesday and Wednesday
Equipment may be reserved in person up to two weeks in advance by paying the full rental fee plus a $5 non-refundable reservation fee. Equipment not picked up on the reserved day will be checked out first come, first served the following day.
