Kansas State Workshop

8:30 am-3:45 pm
Kansas State University is proud to host the NIRSA endorsed State of Kansas Workshop. The workshop will be held at the Chester E. Peters Recreational Complex in Manhattan, Kansas. We will have educational sessions throughout the day on various topics within the campus recreation field. A light breakfast will be provided by our sponsor ADA Sports & Rackets. Lunch will be provided by our sponsor Advanced Exercise. This event is open to any campus recreation staff member and students in Kansas or the surrounding region.
We are currently accepting presentation proposals. Presentations should include NIRSA core competencies and be a duration of 60 minutes to allow for CEU's. If interested in submitting a presentation, click on the link in the right column. Once presentation proposals are submitted, presenters will be notified if their proposal has been selected for presentation at the workshop after review by the State of Kansas Workshop programming committee.
Free - Undergraduate and Graduate Students
$10 - Professional Staff
Registration and payment must be submitted by 5:00 pm on October 26. To submit payment contact the Recreational Services Office at (785) 532-6980.
Parking permits are required to park in the parking lots by the Chester E. Peters Recreational Complex. Recreational Services will contact each institution to determine how many parking permits will be needed one week prior to the workshop. Recreational Services will then have the parking permits available for each school when they arrive the day of the event.
Thank you to our generous sponsors for making this event possible.
