Depending on the disability, there are a variety of aerobic weight machines and free weights available for use. Additionally, the following are available:

  • Cybex Multi-Column - This selectorized weight machine provides wheel chair access to a variety of exercises. An extension hook is available at the weight/fitness checkout area to assist in reaching the lat pull down cable if needed.
  • SciFit REX Total Body Recumbent Elliptical provides an optimized blend of upper and lower body exercise. The low profile seat back allows for torso rotation and increased core recruitment. The swivel seat allows for easy entry.
  • SciFit Pro1 Upper Body Exerciser - ideal for strengthening arms and shoulders. The versatile PRO1 features adjustable tilt head to accommodate users of all heights and for overhead exercise.

Natatorium
Designated parking is available on the north side of Ahearn Gym or in the west stadium parking lot. All areas are accessible.

In the Natatorium, an elevator is available for transport to the pool deck. A hydraulic chair lift and stairs are available for pool access to the six-lane pool.
